I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Nancy Stewart and I have been a professional in the Special Education field for over 25 years. For over 15 years I taught at a private school in the Louisville area which serves children with a wide range of learning disabilities. I have also worked privately as a tutor, advocate for accommodations, consultant and love to stay actively involved in all aspects of the learning difference educational community. I hold multiple advanced degrees in education, including a Master’s in Reading and Literacy, a Master’s in Assistive Technology, and an Undergraduate Degree in Special and Regular Education. My academic background reflects my deep commitment to supporting diverse learners, particularly those with learning differences. I am also a continuing member of the LDA- Learning Disabilities Assoc. of America, and am in the process of becoming an Associate member of IECA- Independent Educational Consultants Association.
I live in Louisville with my two young sons, husband and two sweet dogs.
